2001: A Space Odyssey

June 28, 2010, Monday

‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ was another powerful pound from Kubrick to my head. The deposit of this blow would for sure reoccur time and again. I’ll have really great time chit chatting, discussing and arguing with Stanley Kubrick.

The human intelligence beginning from dim Apes learning to use bones as tools and weapons strengthened to the bright spacemen discovering life in the world not actually made available to them by nature. The technological pioneers by
sharp human brain fight back to the misery and disgust of these creators and innovators.

Kubrick spoke through silence. He created unconscious images using surrealistic colours, symbols and tunes. Predicting Kubrick would be a very ridicule, conventional and stereotypical performance. It would be a quality and generous choice watching Kubrick not using over-senses rather accepting what he threw at you so that you can hit it to others in your own style. The open ended space for views on the actual points of his works delights me of Kubrick.
